North Bay Regional Health Centre Foundation Fundraiser
The event is a fundraiser for the North Bay Regional Health Centre Foundation, and specifically for the care of patients with Aphasia. A donation of approximately $6,000 was made in 2024, while in 2025 the donation grew to over $9,000, all due to the help and support of our riders and numerous dedicated volunteers.
Looking for a challenge that isn’t a flat gravel road?
Welcome to The Voyageur 200! With routes of 30, 60, 100 and 200 km, we will challenge your riding ability, while exposing you to some of the most beautiful scenery that Northern Ontario has to offer. Starting and finishing just outside of North Bay, the 200 km route takes you cross country, down logging roads, across the mighty Mattawa River and back to North Bay. Spend the weekend exploring the region known as the “Gateway to the North.“
How The Event Came To Be
The first race was held in September 2024. The event then moved to August in 2025 and will remain there going forward. The Voyageur 200 is a full day, 30, 60, 100 or 200 km gravel cycling adventure in and around North Bay, Ontario. You will see beautiful lakes, streams, trees, rocks and with some luck, some amazing wildlife. This is not a re-hash of a Southern Ontario cycling event. The terrain will be rugged, the scenery will be epic, and the experience will be second to none! There’s something for everyone. Come play bikes with us and help support a great cause!
Vision
The Nipissing District has hundreds of kilometres of beautiful remote trail systems and gravel roads. By creating The Voyageur 200 event we want to promote this area as a premier destination to explore and share our region with the growing community of gravel bikers.
