Technical Gear Required:

  1. Minimum bike requirements (tire size, tread, etc.? – If the race is done correctly, a typical weekend warrior will love their bike at some sections and hate it in another. but a minimum bike recommendation would be a 29inch (700) wheel size, with a 40mm tire width.
  2. Headlight (it’ll still be dark at 5:00am in September) – not mandatory, but would be a important to have for the 200km 5am start time.
  3. What will/won’t be available for on-course supports. Should riders carry repair kits and tubes? – Every rider should carry their own repair kit/bag. We will have bike repair aid stations on course. We also will have people sweeping behind the last rider in the race.
